Terms & Conditions - Win A Year Supply of Teaching Tools for a Year

The Teaching Tools: Conditions of Entry: 

By entering the The Win A Year Supply of The Teaching Tools stamps promotion you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. 

  1. Conditions:

1.1 Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

1.2 The Promoter is The Teaching Tools, ABN: 49 647 695 912 (‘Promoter’)

1.3 This competition is governed by the laws of NSW.

  1. Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to Australian Permanent Residents who have signed up to The Teaching Tools database and are 18 years or over to enter. 

2.2 Employees and immediate family members of the Promoter and suppliers, providers and agencies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or adopted), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin. 

2.3 Entrants can only enter in their name. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of residency and identification for verification (to the Promoter’s satisfaction in its sole discretion) before issuing the prize.  Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter’s decision to disqualify an entry is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.

  1. Conditions of entry

3.1 The promotion commences on Friday 12th August 2022 at 09:00AM AEST and concludes on 12th August 2023 at 11.59PM AEST Promotion Period’).

3.2 To be eligible to win, entrants must sign up to the lead generation form provided by The Teaching Tools.

To enter, entrants need to complete the sign-up form on the Facebook Lead Generation ad for Win a year's supply of The Teaching Tools. The winner will be selected at random at the end of the promotion period. 

3.3 This competition is a game of chance. Valid entries will be randomly selected on the draw date. Valid entries are defined in clauses 2 and sub-clause 3.2.  

3.4 The winner is final and no negotiation or correspondence will be entered into.

3.5 Incomprehensive and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

3.6 Entrants (including winners) in the competition can only enter once during the Promotional Period. 

  1. How to win

4.1 Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Promotional Period and registered their details in accordance with clauses 2 and 3 will be entered into the competition.

4.2 Prize Winner will be selected at random and according to the Criteria in the terms and conditions monthly on the 1st business day of each month i.e. Thursday 1st September  12:00pm AEST, Tuesday October 4th 12:00pm AEST, Tuesday 1st November at 12:00pm AEST, Thursday 1st December at 12:00pm AEST, Monday 9th January 12:00pm AEST, Wednesday 6th February at 12:00pm AEST, Wednesday 1st March at 12:00pm AEST, Monday 3rd April at 12:00pm AEST, Monday 1st May at 12:00pm AEST, Thursday 1st June at 12:00pm AEST, Monday 3rd July at 12:00pm AEST, Tuesday 1st August 12:00pm AEST  at 01/17 Wurrook Circuit, Caringbah NSW 2229

4.3 Winner will be notified in writing by email following random selection (within 72hours).

4.4 The winner's name and entry may be published on www.theteachingtools.com.au and via the Promoter’s social networks following acceptance of the prize.

 

  1. Unclaimed prizes

If the prize remains unclaimed by 5 business days following contact from the promoter, the Prize Winner forfeits the prize and will be advised in writing. In this event, the Promoter may, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, withdraw the unclaimed prize.  The Promoter’s decision to withdraw an unclaimed prize is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility will be taken for any failure to claim a prize within the specified period. 

  1. Prize

6.1 There will be twelve (12) winners with one (1) winner being drawn each month for a total of twelve (12) months. The prize winners will receive:

  • A years supply of The Teaching Tools stamps (Total of 25 stamps per winner with a RRP of $16.95 - $17.95 per stamp) this includes shipping. The stamps are chosen by the promoter. 

 

6.2 Each one of the twelve (12) prize packages comes to a total of between $423.75 & $448.75. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the set value.  The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

  1. Liability

7.1 In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

7.2 The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law.  

7.3 The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.

7.4 If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition subject to any written directions under applicable legislation.  The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Conditions of Entry, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition.  The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such offender are reserved.

7.5 The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion.

  1. Privacy

8.1 All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter, and may subsequently be edited and republished.  The entrant warrants that they are sole creator of the entry and the entry does not infringe any third party intellectual property rights.

8.2 The Promoter collects contact information about entrants in order to conduct the competition and where appropriate award the prize. The promoter may also use the information in providing goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including email and social media. If you do not provide the information, you cannot participate in the competition.

8.3 In accepting the Prize, the Prize Winner agrees to participate and cooperate as required in all marketing activities relating to the competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed plus possible requests to post onto social media about any component of the Prize.  The Prize Winner grants the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media Australia-wide and the Prize Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
